Privacy

Live Catholic Life is local-first. In V1, all of your family's information — your family profile, members, faith dates, prayer intentions, traditions, and settings — is stored only on your device, in your browser's local storage.

What we collect

We do not require an account, email, or login. We do not collect your family's personal data on a server. We do not use advertising trackers by default.

Where your data lives

On your device. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, your data will be lost — so please export a backup regularly from More → Backup & Restore.

Children's data

Live Catholic Life is designed for parents to manage their family's faith life. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children, and we do not require children's exact birthdays or any medical data. All member fields are optional.

What we don't claim

Because your data is stored locally on your device, we do not claim bank-level security, HIPAA compliance, or end-to-end cloud encryption. Cloud sync is a future Plus feature and will be clearly communicated when available.

Analytics

Live Catholic Life collects anonymous product-usage analytics to understand how families use the app and improve the beta. This includes events like "app started," "search used," and "tradition added," along with an anonymous, randomly generated installation ID, a session ID, your app version, and a general device/browser class.

Analytics never include your family name, children's names, birthdays, baptism or sacramental dates, prayer intention text, family date text, tradition notes, search queries, email address, or your location. We do not use advertising trackers or advertising IDs. You can review the full list of events in our open-source code.
